Argentina have announced they will play Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, 10 November 2012.
It is the first of Wales' November Tests to be announced, although the Welsh Rugby Union has yet to declare its autumn.
After the forthcoming Six Nations, Wales face Australia three times on tour in June.
Wales last faced Argentina in August, 2011, beating them in a World Cup warm-up.
Warren Gatland's side finished fourth at that tournament while the Pumas went out to eventual winners New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
The South American side enter the southern hemisphere's premier tournament, an expanded Tri-Nations, in 2012, joining the All Blacks, Wallabies and South Africa in a tournament that runs from 18 August to 6 October.
