John Hedges of the WRU Youth Disciplinary Committee warns clubs to tighten up their discipline or face lengthy bans
John Hedges, speaking to NWRU, stated that it is vital that Clubs throughout Wales realise the consequences of having a poor U19 discipline record.
During the current season over 440 Red Cards and 330 Yellow Cards were issued to 120 Clubs.
Should any Club have a poor discipline record over a season it is probable that the offending Section of that Club (Youth or Mini & Junior) will have one warning to improve their discipline or find that the offending Section will be SUSPENDED FOR A FULL SEASON FROM ALL RUGBY.
The WRU U19 Discipline Committee will be sitting until the end of July dealing with matters which are currently part of the WRU Safeguarding Officer's Investigation or Police Investigation.
The seriousness of the situation has already been spoken about at the recent North Wales Junior Association AGM and it is hoped that all clubs in our region will take note as they prepare for next season.
