Llandudno close the gap on leaders Mold as then enjoy midweek success at The Bay.
Llandudno gain maximum league points from this local Derby, scoring five tries and four conversions, and the scoreline could have been greater only for dropped passes when the gain line had been breached.
The home side took an early lead from a converted penalty, but this lead did not last long, as Llan were in a very dominant mood, and it was from a line out near the home side try line that prop Aaron evans broke through the defence for flanker Dan Colclough to crashed over for a touch down, with fly half Luke Jones converting.
The next score came from a movement set by good ball by the forwards, which was quickly moved along the back line, with full back Sam Mckean coming in to make the overlap and touching down for an unconverted try.
The home side were constantly on the back foot defending,but gaps in the defence began to appear. A ruck was formed inside of there twenty two and driven towards there try line,and Luke Jones was at hand to take a try scoring pass, which he also converted, giving Llan a comfortable half time lead of nineteen points to three.
Llan continued to put the pressure on the home side in the second half, with strong running by there two centres Dave Davies and Nick Maxwell breaking the gain line, but on a number occasions, dropped passes lost them try scoring opportunities.
The next try was scored by replacement second row forward John Griffiths,when he followed up a kick ahead and beat the defence to the ball for a converted try by Luke Jones. It was at this stage, that the home side managed to put there game together, and from a line out near the Llan try line that there hooker managed to touch down, with the conversion by there fly half.
Llan finished the match the stronger, keeping the home side well within there own half of play,and from this pressure that the gain line was broken by Luke Jones for his second and the final try of the match, adding two more points with the conversion.
