Holyhead enjoyed a good bonus point win away to Menai Bridge. They got off to an excellent start, when they caught the Bridge defence napping at a ruck, which allowed their flanker to race through the defence for a try in the first minute of play.
Bridge spent the rest of the first half clawing their way back into the match. A brace of penalties for Dion McGrath took the score to 6 - 7 at half time.
Holyhead started the second half, as they did the first, scoring a penalty that was soon followed by a try out on the wing. McGrath closed the gap with a penalty, but Bridge struggled to contain the Holyhead side. The pressure finally told when the Holyhead backs scored an excellent try from scrum ball. Another late try for the visitors brought up their bonus point and sealed the game.
