Over 800 witness feast of rugby at Wrexham RFC's Anglo-Welsh Mini Tournament
This tournament was a great day of sport for the children and a credit to Wrexham with well in excess of 800 children, parents and supporters gathering to enjoy a day's competition of rugby played in the true 'Chwarae teg' spirit of Rugby Union.
The tournament was organised totally by volunteers and co-ordinators Keith Williams and Tina-Suzanne Davies with the collective support of all the club, plus the Board, but especially the Mini and Junior Coaches, parents and referees deserve a massive pat on the back for making the day such a resounding success.
The major sponsors of this year's event were Wrexham County Borough Council and Kukri Sports Ltd and several generous local businesses.

Under 8 Mold
Under 9 Mold
Under 10 Nant Conwy
Under 11 Ruthin
Under 12 Wrexham
The overall tournament winners were Nant Conwy and the runners up and Winners of the Silver Plate Wrexham
The Chwarae Teg award went to Liverpool St Helen's
Best sportman awards went to :
U8 - Carwyn Jones Nant Conwy
U9 - Seth Greary Mold
U10 - Brenig Hughes - Nant Conwy
U11- JackJones - Ruthin
U12- Phil Smith - Bangor
The winners of the Best Sportsman award have been given a ticket for themselves and one adult to attend Sale Sharks JP Morgan 7's event on 29th July at Edgeley Park, kindly donated by Sale Sharks
There was a special 10th Anniversary prize donated in celebration of the Tournament and to help encourage the children. The winners of each age group plus the Chwarae Teg winners went into an open prize draw to win 22 club playing shirts and 2 coaches shirts donated by Kukri. The lucky winners were Wrexham under 12.
