Momentous game for Nant Youth on Saturday as they represent the region in the final of the National Youth Leagues Final.
All the best wishes of the North/Mid Wales clubs will be passed on to Nant Youth for Saturday.
NATIONAL YOUTH PLAY OFF FINAL – SATURDAY 23rd MAY 2015 – Kick off 2-30 pm.
The National Youth League Season will conclude this Saturday when the Nant Conwy Youth team (Gogledd Cymru Champions) play Aberavon Quins RFC (champions of the Ospreys region) in the final play off match on Cardiff Arms Park.
The Gogledd Cymru Champions won all their league matches during 2014-2015 and apart from one away match (against Pwllheli in November) earned a bonus point in every game - i.e. scored more than ten points than their opponents in every other game and averaged a score of 42 points per game with only 115 points conceded in total.
Nant therefore qualified as the team to represent Gogledd Cymru in the end of season play off and travelled to Llanidloes to draw 7-7 with Llanelli Wanderers, the Scarlets Region Champions. Nant went through to the next round after winning a goal kicking tiebreak
and met Pontypridd RFC Youth – undisputed champions of the Blues region - in Llanymddyfri last week and came away with a narrow 12-11 victory and a place in the final.
Nant Conwy Youth will meet Aberavon Quins Youth this Saturday (23rd May) on Cardiff Arms Park with the kick off scheduled for 2-30 pm.
There is no admission charge and therefore there is no reason for you not to go and support them if you are in the Cardiff area.
GOOD LUCK NANT CONWY YOUTHS
