Ruthin were at home to Llangollen for their second pre-season friendly and played a squad of 24 players in a game split into four 20 minute periods with team changes in each break.
The Blues continued their try scoring form from the off and were 26-0 up at the end of first period then 40-0 and 52-0 in the subsequent periods finishing the game at 74-0.
Tries came from Ben Taylor, Shay Owen (2), Will Mitchelmore (2), Danny Miller, Josh Wilson (3), Cai Edwards, Chris Lewis and Gareth Edwards with Shay Owen, Ben Syme, Deian Lloyd Williams and Callum Bennett getting the conversions.
Llangollen fought till the end and although they challenged the Ruthin defence in the second half of the game were unable to convert their efforts into points due to solid defensive work by the home team.
The Blues final pre-season friendly is against Shropshire team Whitchurch at Caeddol on Saturday 30th August KO 14:30
