Performance Manager Josh Leach saw plenty of positives from the training week and games
“It was a busy week with skills day on the Monday and Tuesday with the national age grade coaches, and then followed up with a training camp and overnight stay at Surf Snowdonia. It was a good opportunity to see a couple of new faces that we have brought into the squad. We are looking to add a bit of depth and competition with a few new additions.”
“We had a couple of intensive days training and the time at Surf Snowdonia was really good for the group and they all enjoyed it, so thanks to everyone at Surf Snowdonia for their welcome.”
“The boys seemed to all come together and found their place in the group which was another positive. I think all of these factors added to the our performances and results in the Super Series and as a squad we were more positive and tighter. We built some momentum and picked up 2 wins before ending in draw" “It was a successful week on and off the field and we also managed to see a few more faces as well. It was a big positive for the group and we can take plenty of positives into the next RAG block in January”
