Newport Gwent Dragons will be attending Eirias on Friday 5th August to take on RGC in their first Pre-Season friendly.
Ticket prices for the game are: £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and this year Eirias Park are offering all children under 16’s free entry to games for the season. I look forward to seeing plenty of support there for the Team!
The game will see the newly promoted north Wales side go head to head with a side packed with internationals such as Hallam Amos and Tyler Morgan, plus up and coming stars like Harrison Keddie and James Benjamin who are sure to start as favourites against the home side.
The Dragons, who usually play in Pro 12 league, agreed to the match as the climax to a training camp at Eirias and will provide a real benchmark for RGC who are preparing for the new season in the Principality Premiership and will welcome the likes of Cardiff and Llanelli to Colwyn Bay over the coming months.
Coach, Josh Leach said, “We’re really excited about the game, training has been going well but it’s difficult to gauge exactly how far we have come until we test ourselves against some meaningful opposition and we expect the Dragons to leave us in no doubt of what we need to do to compete at the highest levels.”
The game will kick off at 7:30pm.
