Here we take a look at what games are left and who might be lifting the title at the end of April.
With Pwllheli gaining a bonus point win on Thursday night at Bro Ffestiniog and a weekend without league fixtures because of the Six Nations, I thought it be might be a good chance to take stock and see what sort of run-ins the main contenders have.
Team | P | W | D | L | BP | Pts |
Nant Conwy | 16 | 15 | 0 | 1 | 11 | 71 |

Dolgellau | 15 | 3 | 0 | 12 | 7 | 19 |
Bro Ffestiniog | 14 | 4 | 0 | 10 | 2 | 18 |
Colwyn Bay | 15 | 1 | 0 | 14 | 2 | 6 |
Leaders Nant Conwy have six games to play, four at home and two away. Whilst they have some tricky fixtures to come, especially Llandudno and Llangefni twice, it will be the 24th March home clash against Pwllheli that could make or break it for both clubs. If Nant get the right results in their three scheduled games, you'd have to fancy their chances in their three games to re-arrange and their lifting of the title.
Games to play
Nant Conwy
3 March - Nant Conwy v Llandudno
24 March - Nant Conwy v Pwllheli
7 April - Llangefni v Nant Conwy
To arrange:
Nant Conwy v Ruthin
Nant Conwy v Llangefni
Colwyn Bay v Nant Conwy
However, we all know what Pwllheli can do when the pressure is on. Who will ever forgot their final six games last season, all away and all needing bonus points, when they won them all and claimed the title with a convincing final game display at Llandudno.
Two extremely tough games coming up for Pwll in March, with Bala away and Nant Conwy away. You would fancy Pwllheli to win their three remaining home games but the five away games are a different matter. If the title heads their way again, they will certainly have done it the hard way once again. The excitement mounts!
Games to play
Pwllheli
3 March - Bala v Pwllheli
10 March - Pwllheli v Mold
24 March - Nant Conwy v Pwllheli
7 April - Pwllheli v Dolgellau
To arrange:
Dolgellau v Pwllheli
Llandudno v Pwllheli
Pwllheli v Colwyn Bay
Llangefni v Pwllheli
Watching the two heavyweights above them with interest are Bala, who are having another impressive season. Whilst they may be just that bit too far off the top two on points, they could still have a massive say in where the title ends up as they host Pwllheli next Saturday.
Bala
3 March - Bala v Pwllheli
10 March - Llangefni v Bala
24 March - Bala v Bro Ffestiniog
31st March - Bala v Llangefni
7 April - Ruthin v Bala
To arrange:
Bro Ffestiniog v Bala
Caernarfon v Bala
So, there we have it, I can't choose the winner, but I can confidently predict that, once again, we're going to have a fantastic climax to the season and I won't be surprised if we have to go to the last day before we know where the title is heading.
Best of luck to them all.
