The Welsh Rugby Union rugby department is holding a Community Coach and Referee Conference (CCRC) at the National Centre of Excellence, Vale Resort.
The Welsh Rugby Union rugby department is holding a Community Coach and Referee Conference (CCRC) at the National Centre of Excellence, Vale Resort, on Saturday 27 June (9am – 5pm). It is a unique opportunity for two club delegates (preferably one coach and one referee) to join Wales attack coach Rob Howley, WRU Head of Rugby Josh Lewsey, WRU international skills coaches and other key members of the WRU’s elite development pathway staff for advice and information on the latest developments in the game.
The day is for qualified coaches and referees from the community game and will include coaching and refereeing masterclasses, workshops, Q&As and seminars.
The day is free of charge and is set to be an experience that will benefit the development of every participating community coach and referee.
Places are limited to this event and therefore each club is allocated two delegates to attend (preferably one coach and one referee). Please forward the link below to your delegates to register individually where they will have the option to print their free ticket, which they must bring along on the day to gain entry.
There is a free park and ride service for the event with parking just minutes away from the venue at the Renishaw Factory (formally the Bosch factory). The car park will be signposted when you take exit 34 off the M4 heading towards the Vale Resort. We advise that your delegates arrive no later than 8:30am at the park and ride in order to be transported to the first session at 9am at the Vale Resort.
Refreshments are provided throughout the day and lunch is also included.
We look forward to seeing your delegates at the 2015 Community Coach and Referee Conference (CCRC).
