Concern after half of games involving North Wales sides are 'walkovers
There will be no North Wales involvement in the Youth Cup after last weekend's games. Nant Conwy came closest to making progress but couldn't get over the line at Glynneath, losing narrowly by 26-22.
The plate was more productive however, with Bro Ffestiniog, Caernarfon, Dinbych, Llanidloes and Wrexham going in to the hat for the next round.
In the Bowl, Newtown, Flint, Rhyl, Shotton Steel and Llandudno have progressed to the next round.
