The Goats claim a home win against the Quarrymen, keeping them in touch with Div 1 Leaders. They took the lead with a try by Tobi Roberts after pressure on the visitors defence, and went further ahead on the twenty minute mark with another try by Connor Henderson.
The visitors rallied in the final minutes of the first half and went into the break with a converted penalty.
The second period of play saw the Goats starting to play as a team herd, and gaps began to show in the Bethesda defence, and this allowed them take play into the visitors half. The next try came from a flowing movement from within their own half, and they further increased their lead with a try by Lewis Jones, and then shortly afterwards another try by Jordan Lucas which Byrom Davies converted.
However the Quarrymen began to put some pressure on the home defence, and from the second half restart scored their first try of the match which they also converted, and went to add to their score with another converted try on the sixty five minute mark.
This brought the Goats back into a hunting pack of forwards and backs, and they once again in the final quarter of the match secured this win with tries by Toby Roberts and Morgan Owen with one of the tries being converted by Byrom Davies giving them a very rewarding home result.
