Here we go first set of predictions for the coming season.
Not an easy task but my network of 'informers' have been 'busy' to give me an indication of the SP based on preparations etc. but as usual be prepared for one or two shocks.
First up Mold make their way to Bala where they lost 27-20 last season. The home side may again prove too strong for the visitors.
Last years' runners up Nant travel up the Crimea to Bro where they won 38-0 last time. Difficult to see Bro upsetting the visitors title aspirations.
Colwyn Bay welcome Caernarfon to Brookfield Road. The Cofis won 37-17 in corresponding match and they should again go home with the spoils on Saturday.
Its a clash of the newly promoted sides at Cae Smyrna when Llangefni host Dolgellau. Cefni won comfortably 42-15 last season , closer this time but the Anglesey boys should take the points.
In a repeat of last season's opening fixture Bethesda go to Bodegroes to take on champions Pwllheli. They lost 50-0 last year but the Quarrymen have had a good pre season and will be in a confident mood of causing an upset. However the champions' home advantage could give them the edge.
Rhuthun host Llandudno in a match they won 34-7 last season. Closer this time but I see the visitors bagging the points.
