Colwyn Bay U10s 0 v Nant Conwy U10s 38
Colwyn Bay U10s 5 v Nant Conwy U10s 5
Try: Charlie Austin
Colwyn Bay welcomed Nant Conwy on a warm sunny November morning, with good support from parents on both sides. There was a good turn out of home players too, which meant that two matches were played to give everyone plenty of match time.
The first match was a more competitive game than the score reflected. The main difference was that Nant had a stronger desire to win the ball at the breakdown. That said, some of the Bay players were tackling well and were also starting to take the ball at pace, which was an improvement on recent performances.
In the second match Colwyn Bay struggled at first, but improved at the start of the second half when Charlie Austin showed his strength to drive over the line for a try. That visibly lifted the spirits of the home side who put on a better display and halved the number of tries that Nant scored compared to the first half.

PROVINCIAL NORTH EAST UNDER 14's
Hello All
After Christmas I will be starting to train a North East Wales Under 14s team in preparation for next seasons U15s Dewar Shield. Training will be every Wednesday evening 7:00 – 8:30pm and we are currently based at Flint RFC.
I would ask that you enquire within your clubs to see if any players at this age group are suitable for selection within the team. The squad will initially comprise of last seasons Provincial U13s but I don't want to miss any talented players so therefore ask that you have your U14s coaches contact me with players they believe have improved significantly since being U13s. I can then invite them to training.
If you have any questions please contact me on the details below.
Many thanks
