Some great games in store this weekend as the squads and match previews for all teams are announced.
WRU Division One East
Rhydyfelin v RGC 1404
Chris Horsman: 'I have every confidence that as a squad we are good enough to head back North after the game with our fourth win of the season'.
The RGC senior team face potentially their toughest game of the season thus far when they play away at Rhydyfelin this Saturday. This will be the sides fourth competetive fixture in Division 1 East and their 4th consecutive away game and the side will be looking to achieve a similar result to those achieved in their opening three games against Gilfach Goch, Merthyr and most recently Ynysybwl.
However Head Coach Chris Horsman and his squad know it will be no easy task against a Rhydyfelin side which lies one place below them in fourth in the League and which has similar aspirations to being on top of the table come the end of the season.
Speaking after the sides final training session prior to the game Chris Horsman commented:
'It is obviously frustrating playing our fourth game in a row on the road, however the response of the players thus far to the travel involved in competing in this division has been magnificent and I am quite sure that it will be the same again this weekend.
Competition for places in Saturday's squad has been as fierce as ever and a number of players can consider themselves unlucky not to have been included. We know how strong Rhydyfelin are but I have every confidence that as a squad we are good enough to head back North after the game with our fourth win of the season.'
