VOLUNTARY CHAIRMAN JUNIOR SECTION – FLINT RFC
Flint Rugby Football club is a progressive club based at the Cae Castell Ground in Flint, a unique setting. We are presently looking for a dynamic individual to assist the club on a voluntary basis to further develop the Junior Section at the Club.
Experience of overseeing the coaching of mini sections would be an advantage but the focus is on the development of core team values and enjoyment. Experienced players and volunteers are usually on hand to help out at all age levels but the key requirement is for an administrator with the time and ambition to develop the Junior Section.
Usual responsibilities are:
· Ensuring registration of all players
· Overseeing the Financial Management of the Junior Section
· Exploring Sponsorship Opportunities for the Junior Section
· Reporting to the Committee on a monthly basis
· Attending match days and training evenings
· Helping with travel arrangements for match days
· Fixtures (this is rarely a problem in the North Wales and Wirral area).
The rewards for an enthusiastic volunteer are, as always, the satisfaction of being part of the development of rugby football and perhaps a stepping stone to more professional roles.
If you are interested and would like to discuss this opportunity in more depth please call Ian Buckett on 07722606497.
