All shirts must be numbered and no contact at Under-8 age group
Keith Hulse, Chairman of the North Wales Junior Association, reminds clubs of the following two rules which need to be strictly enforced:
Playing shirts have to have numbers on the back, no exceptions whatsoever from 7's - Seniors, referees should not allow any players to play without a number on their shirt.
The above ruling is for very obvious reasons and should have been implemented by all clubs two seasons ago.
Contact rugby can only be played by players from U9, that means any player under that age group CANNOT PLAY CONTACT RUGBY, which also means U8 players cannot play up a year into the U9 age group. No exceptions whatsoever, that is the ruling.
