In order to avoid a backlog, the North Wales League and Cup committee ask that clubs consider midweek games where possible.
Dear Fix Sec
Just a quick reminder about the 1st round ties of the North Wales Senior and Intermediate Cups.
Rearranged National League games have already taken priority over some scheduled 1st round ties and with other postponed games yet to be arranged taking priority over the NW Cup, there is a danger that clubs involved in these fixtures may delay the progress of the competitions.
Only two 1st round ties can be played on the December 15th. They are:-
Bethesda v Llandudno
Ruthin v Dolgellau
(These games can be played at an earlier date if both clubs agree.)
We are therefore asking that the following 1st round ties be played during the Autumn International window wherever possible.
Senior Cup
Caernarfon v Llangefni
Llanidloes v Bala
Nant Conwy v Rhyl
Colwyn Bay v COBRA
Pwllheli v Mold
Intermediate Cup
Newtown v Abergele
Wrexham v Flint
Menai Br. V Llangollen
The LCCMC understand that the distance that some clubs may have to travel for a mid-week fixture may be unrealistic therefore we are asking these clubs to arrange an early KO on the 24th November.
If this date is not feasible and considering most clubs in Wales will be involved in League matches up until the 22nd Dec., could Nat League Div 1 and 2 North clubs use Saturday 22nd Dec to complete their North Wales ties?
Holyhead, Benllech and Machynlleth have withdrawn from the competition and their opponents have been given byes.
