Defending champions N Wales Exiles play Fiji in first game of Elite Competition at the Manchester 7's this coming weekend
The Exiles, who were runners-up last week at the famous Kinsale Sevens tournament in Ireland, will again be captained by Rhyl's James Farrell at the two day event at Broughton Park Rugby Club, Manchester.
In the Open Competition on Saturday, the Exiles play their first pool game at 10.40am against Eggcatchers 7s with the second pool game against Manchester University at noon.
In the Elite Competition on Sunday, the Exiles are first up against Fiji at 10.40am, then play their second pool game against the Nigerian National side, Black Stallions, at noon.
As well as North Wales Exiles stalwarts James Farrell and Mike Hall, Lloyd Hayes will make his third appearance for the side. Hayes, from Sychdyn, near Mold, moved out to Italy in January to play professional rugby.
The former Chester centre returned hom on Monday and has confirmed he will line up for the Exiles in the Open.
Former Wales Sevens Captain and World Cup Winner Chris Davies and current Wales Sevens centre Ricky Thomas will also be in the Exiles side.
As well as the rugby there is a festival feel to this year's tournament with a live music stage and 16 competitions involving over 100 teams, including ladies and touch.
