The first stage of preparing for this years under 18's age grade rubgy draws to a conclusion in April with three developement games, which will provide the coaching staff with a valuable insight into the progress made over the last 10 weeks.
On April 1st the young Gogs face the Boys Clubs of Wales at Welshpool RFC before playing Yorkshire at Eirias Park on the 8th, followed by another home fixture at Eirias Park against Sale Sharks on the 22nd April.
All three fixtures at this stage of the under 17's developement will prove to be extremely tough encounters but ones which will provide a good reflection on how well this squad has progressed over the recent months.
Head Coach Stewart Milne said "The training schedule at Eirias Park has gone extremely well and the boys have worked very hard as they continue to devlope their skills and understanding. The three April fixtures will allow us to give all the boys a run out in a competitive environment, and give us an opportunity to try out different combinations and patterns, in preparation for the summer training schedule and then Age Grade 18's after that"
Following these fixtures the squad then takes a well earned rest for all important exams before coming together again for their summer training schedule in July
