Jim Salisbury to cover North East and South area and Carwyn Lewis to cover North West
The WRU have appointed two new Participation Officers for the North Wales Region.
They are Jim Salisbury who will deliver programmes within the North East and South regions and Carwyn Lewis who will delivering programmes in the North West.
Their main focus is to encourage and develop child, young person and adult participation levels through the WRU Leisure Rugby and Rugby Stars Initiatives, as well as providing and ensuring exit routes to grow club playing figures. The launch for the new Initiatives will be available soon!
Ø Primary Rugby Stars Yrs. 5 & 6 and Fundamentals Yrs. 3 & 4 Programme, Little Stars Commercial Programme ages 3 to 7, Junior Stars Holiday Camps , Back 2 Sport for Adults, Adult Summer Touch Rugby Programme, Secondary School Mixed Touch Yrs. 7, 8 & 9 Programme and Little Stars Programme ages 3 to 7.

Participation Officers would also like to seek and appoint potential Community Coaches. If you are 18 years plus, hold a recognised rugby coaching qualification (Level 1 or Tag), have the appropriate experience for this position and would like to deliver rugby sessions or officiate tag rugby festivals within your community on weekdays. Then please contact the Participation Officers below to discuss times, area, rate of pay, CRB checks.
